“We have the privilege of serving the best and most deserving consumer in the world,” said Doug McAlister, Director

of Worldwide Military Sales, Coca-Cola, North America, who accepted the International Food Services Executives

Association (IFSEA) Award of Excellence on behalf of TCCC. Each year, IFSEA recognizes an individual and

company that are committed to excellence in the food service industry.

At a dinner honoring the best military dining facilities, he said, “I am thankful for the opportunity to help refresh the

men and women who serve our country and offer them something from home every time they enjoy one of our

products.”

TCCC’s military team provides beverages to 75 percent of U.S. land-based military dining facilities, serving 2.5

million beverages in a 24-hour period to active-duty members of the U.S. military, reserves, retirees and their

families. “We are committed to being the best partners we can be with service commands and installations around

the world,” said McAlister.

McAlister joined TCCC five years ago and has worked in Military Sales since 1996, formerly with P&G. After

graduating from DePauw University, he attended the Navy’s Officer Candidate School and served three years as

on officer on board  the USS Procyon and the USS  Robert L. Wilson.

IFSEA is a group of foodservice professionals focused on mentoring, networking and community service.

In addition to its annual military awards program, the association offers professional certification, student

development and support, food safety education and more.
